Amazon Prime Video does not have direct links to videos by default so there are a couple of extra steps that have to be done for StreamParty to work reliably!

If you are watching a series and one of you has already started it before, you might end up with different episodes being started on opening in StreamParty. Unfortunately you have to manually select the correct episode in Prime Video. The video below shows you how to do that:

Does everyone in a party need a streaming service account?

Accepted Answer

All participants need to have access to the streaming service to start or join a Party. It is possible to use a shared accounts to join a party, but the account needs to be on a membership plan which allows multiple viewers to watch at the same time.

Yes, currently everyone that wants to host or join a party has to have a StreamParty account. This is mainly to prevent abuse of our systems!
